Drexel will look to continue the momentum from last season's 19-14 run
in which the Dragons advanced to the second round of the WNIT. The Dragons made
its third straight WNIT appearance and fourth consecutive postseason berth in
2011-12. All-CAA second team selection Hollie Mershon returns for the Dragons
as DU's leading scorer after ranking ninth in the league averaging 14.5 points
per game. Denise Dillon's squad ranked seventh nationally averaging just 12.7
turnovers per game and Mershon is one of the top-5 returning CAA players in
assist/turnover ratio (1.1). Wootton shot a team-best 86.1 percent from the
free-throw line and ranked second on the team with 15 blocked shots.
