BRISTOL, Conn. – ESPN’s iconic College Gameday pregame show will broadcast live from Harrisonburg, Va., this weekend in advance of Saturday’s CAA Football showdown between James Madison and Richmond.
College Gameday will air on ESPN from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, featuring a list of ESPN personalities that include Rece Davis, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, David Pollack and Samantha Ponder, among others.
James Madison becomes CAA Football’s first campus to host College Gameday, and the Richmond vs. JMU matchup will be just the eighth non-FBS stop in the show’s history.
James Madison is currently 7-0 overall and 4-0 in CAA Football, while Richmond is 5-1 overall and 3-0 in the league. The Dukes entered the weekend ranked fifth and the Spiders 13th in both FCS national polls.
Richmond vs. James Madison is set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, and will be televised by Comcast SportsNet. More details regarding the location of College Gameday on JMU's campus will be announced later this week.
