RICHMOND, Va. – CAA Football announced its final regular-season Player of the Week awards on Monday, honoring Richmond’s Jacobi Green, Stony Brook’s Donald Liotine, and James Madison’s Jordan Brown and Brandon Ravenel.
 
 
Offensive Player of the Week
Jacobi Green | RB | Richmond
-Rushed 36 times for 217 yards against William & Mary as Richmond clinched a share of the CAA Football title and the league’s automatic bid to the FCS playoffs.
-Scored a 12-yard touchdown early in the third quarter, giving him a league-best 15 this season.
-Finished the regular season as CAA Football’s leading rusher with 1,285 yards.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Jordan Brown | DB | James Madison
-Finished with six tackles and a pair of passes defended as James Madison beat Villanova to earn a share of the CAA Football title.
-Recorded his first-career interception and returned it 45 yards for a JMU touchdown midway through the opening quarter, giving the Dukes a lead they wouldn’t surrender.
 
Special Teams Player of the Week
Brandon Ravenel | KR/WR | James Madison
-Returned the game’s opening kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown in JMU’s victory over Villanova.
-The play marked his first-career kickoff return touchdown.
-Added six receptions for 54 yards and a score on offense for the Dukes.
 
Rookie of the Week
Donald Liotine | RB | Stony Brook
-Piled up 203 rushing yards on 31 carries in Stony Brook’s dominant 20-2 win over UAlbany.
-Found the endzone from one yard out in the third quarter, extending the Seawolves’ lead to three scores.
-The performance was his third-straight 100-yard rushing effort and second 200-yard game this season.
