RICHMOND, Va. (December 8, 2015) – Delaware senior Alyssa Sanders William & Mary senior Jessie Ustjanauskas and each were named Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Women’s Swimmer of the Week on Tuesday. The seniors turned out solid performances over the weekend at the US Swimming AT&T Winter National Championships.

Ustjanauskas opened the weekend by breaking her own school and personal record by .19 seconds in the 100-meter fly (1:02.30). The very next day, the senior again swam a time-trial in the same event, touching the wall this time in 1:01.77. That converts to a 54.38 in the 100-yard fly, which is currently the best mark in the CAA so far this season.

Sanders, a co-captain for the Hens, cruised in the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:04.76. She finished 56^th in a difficult field of swimmers and now owns the second-best time for the 100-yard back (55.24) among conference competitors this season.
