CAA MEN'S LACROSSE WEEKLY REPORT (APRIL 20)

Chris Selva was named the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week while Fairfield University’s
Will Fox was named CAA Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season.

Senior captain Chris Selva came off the bench in the second quarter to relieve starting freshman goalie Jack Concannon, who had a broken stick, and recorded 12 saves over 43:17 of play to lead the Pride to a 9-2 victory over the 12-ranked Towson Tigers on Senior Day at Towson. The 12 saves are Selva’s third-most this season as he picked up his fifth win.

Freshman Will Fox went 16-for-24 in at the ‘X’ in the Stags’ 12-11 double-overtime win over Delaware. The rookie faceoff specialist also picked up a career-best 10 ground balls off faceoffs to set up the Stags’ offense. His 16th and final winning draw came at the start of the second overtime to begin the possession that ended with Fairfield’s game-winning goal.
