CAA Offensive Player of the Week
Bryan Schor, Jr., QB, James Madison (Milford, Pa./Delaware Valley)

Schor completed 22-of-28 passes for 285 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 91 yards and a TD on 12 carries in No. 7 James Madison’s 47-43 victory over No. 6 Richmond, ending the Spiders’ 11-game home winning streak. The junior quarterback finished with a career-high 376 yards of total offense and produced at least four TD’s for the third straight game.
 
CAA Defensive Player of the Week
Troy Reeder, So., LB, Delaware (Hockessin, Del./Salesianum)

Reeder made five tackles and helped produce three turnovers in Delaware’s 33-17 win at UAlbany. The sophomore linebacker forced two fumbles, intercepted a pass and recovered a fumble as part of a dominant defensive effort by the Blue Hens, who allowed just seven first downs in the game and limited the Great Danes to seven total yards in the second half.
 
CAA Special Teams Player of the Week
Earnest Edwards, Fr., WR/KR, Maine (Rochester, N.Y./Aquinas Institute)

Edwards averaged 38.0 yards on four kickoff returns, including 97-yard return for a touchdown in Maine’s 26-7 loss to Villanova. It was the Black Bears’ first kickoff return for a TD since 2013 and matched the longest return by a Maine player since 2004. He also had three catches for 54 yards.
 
CAA Rookie of the Week
Shane Simpson, Fr., RB, Towson (Easton, Pa./Easton)

Simpson rushed for a career-high 187 yards on 21 carries as Towson defeated Elon, 23-6, for its first CAA win. The freshman, who averaged 8.1 yards per carry, added 53 yards on two kick returns and 33 yards on three punt returns to finish with a career-high 271 all-purpose yards.
