In the CAA opener against William & Mary, Delgado evened the game at 1-1 with a goal which gave him his 101st career point to break a 46-year-old program record. The Hens would go on to win the game 2-1 in double overtime.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK:
Carlos Cuevas • Drexel University
Freshman | Forward | Orlando, Fla./Timber Creek
Drexel rookie Carlos Cuevas made his only shot on Tuesday night against Temple count as his first collegiate goal was the game-winner in Drexel's 3-2 overtime win over the Owls in a Philadelphia Soccer Six matchup. Cuevas streaked up the middle of the field and got in position to take a centering pass from Colin McGlynn, sending it to the back of the net in the 97th minute to give the Dragons their first win of the season. Cuevas would add a shot in the Dragons’ loss to Northeastern and now has three shot attempts on the season.
