RICHMOND, Va. – Four players grabbed the spotlight for the final weekly CAA volleyball awards of the season on Monday. Towson senior Julymar Otero won her second Offensive Player of the Week award of the year, College of Charleston senior Jane Feddersen and Towson junior Anna Holehouse shared Defensive Player of the Week accolades and UNCW freshman Brynn Montgomery picked up her second weekly nod of the fall.

Otero wins her second Offensive Player of the Week award of the season, finishing a 2-0 week with 29 kills (3.62 per set), 42 assists (5.25 per set), 22 digs (2.75 per set), five blocks, a service ace, and a .310 hitting percentage as Towson clinched the No. 2 seed for the CAA Championship. In Monday’s 3-2 win over JMU, the senior recorded her CAA-best sixth triple-double of the year with 15 kills, 27 assists and 14 digs. She also chipped in four blocks against the Dukes. On Sunday in sweep of Delaware, Otero posted her third straight double-double and 12th of the season, posting 14 kills, 15 assists and eight digs.

Feddersen contributed a huge defensive showing for the Cougars (26-4, 15-1 in CAA), who earned the top seed for the CAA Championship after upping their overall winning streak to 14 straight matches with wins over Elon and William & Mary to close the regular season. The senior collected 18 total blocks (2.25 per set) with seven versus the Phoenix in a 3-0 win and a career-best 11 in Sunday’s five-set victory over the Tribe.

Holehouse’s 60 digs this week gave her 544 for the season, while she is now the first player in program history to post 500 or more digs in two seasons as a Tiger.
