Delaware 40, Towson 36

Pat Kehoe completed 18-of-32 passes for 305 yards and a career-high four touchdowns, including a 3-yard toss to Vinny Papale with 30 seconds remaining, to rally Delaware (6-2, 4-1) past Towson, 40-36. The back-and-forth contest featured three lead changes in the final 8:17. Towson (6-2, 4-1) took a 28-13 advantage midway through the third quarter on a 7-yard TD pass from Tom Flacco to Jabari Allen. The Blue Hens battled back as Kehoe connected with Papale on a 15-yard scoring strike and Joe Walker with a 30-yard TD pass, before Kani Kane put Delaware on top, 33-28, on a 1-yard run with 8:17 to play. The Tigers responded with an 11-yard scoring run by Shane Simpson with just 2:01 remaining before a long kickoff return by DeJoun Lee set up Kehoe's game-winning drive. Papale finished with career-highs of 8 receptions for 142 yards and 2 TD's for UD. For Towson, Flacco was 21-of-42 for 225 yards and 2 TD's, while Simpson rushed for a game-high 123 yards and a TD on 21 carries and Allen caught nine balls for 96 yards and 2 TD's.

James Madison 13, Stony Brook 10

In a defensive battle, fourth-quarter field goals of 41 and 24 yards by Tyler Gray lifted James Madison (6-2, 4-1 CAA) over Stony Brook, 13-10. JMU jumped out to a 7-0 first-quarter lead on a 15-yard TD pass from Ben DiNucci to Kyndel Dean. The Seawolves (6-3, 4-2 CAA) responded with a 30-yard TD run by Donald Liotine and a 37-yard field goal by Alex Lucansky that put SBU up 10-7 at the half. Both defenses dominated in the second half, but Gray's second field goal with 8:56 to go proved to be the difference as a Stony Brook 50-yard field goal attempt as time expired fell short. DiNucci finished with 140 yards passing, while Cardon Johnson ran for 60 yards on 16 carries. For Stony Brook, Joe Carbone threw for 192 yards and Liotine ran for 71 yards on 19 carries. Defensively, SBU linebacker Shayne Lawless contributed 10 tackles, 2.5 TFL, a sack and a fumble recovery, while JMU linebacker Dimitri Holloway recorded 16 tackles and 2.0 TFL.

Rhode Island 21, William & Mary 10

Naim Jones rushed for a career-high 152 yards and a touchdown on 37 carries as Rhode Island (5-3, 3-2 CAA) got past William & Mary, 21-10, in difficult weather conditions. Jones' 1-yard scoring run in the first quarter put the Rams on top 14-7 and URI took control on a 67-yard TD pass from Vito Priore to Aaron Parker late in the third period. William & Mary (3-5, 2-3 CAA) went up 7-0 in the first quarter after Nate Evans returned a fumble 71 yards, but URI drew even when Momodou Mbye recovered a fumble in the end zone following a muffed punt. The Rams' defense held W&M to just 101 total yards in the game with freshman James Makszin tallying three tackles, two sacks, a forced fumble and an interception.

Maine 28, UAlbany 9

Chris Ferguson completed 21-of-30 passes for 244 yards and a TD and also ran for a score as Maine (5-3, 4-1 CAA) picked up a 28-9 triumph over UAlbany. Ferguson hit Earnest Edwards with a 77-yard TD strike on the opening play of the game and then added a 1-yard TD run later in the quarter to put the Black Bears in front for good. Edwards finished with six catches for 114 yards, and freshman running back Ramon Jefferson added 93 yards and a TD on the ground. The Black Bears' defense limited UAlbany to 113 total yards with Kayon Whitaker contributing seven tackles and 2.5 sacks. UAlbany (2-6, 0-5 CAA) scored on a 14-yard TD from Jeff Undercuffler to Jerah Reeves early in the fourth quarter.

New Hampshire 34, Villanova 0

Freshman Carlos Washington ran for a career-high 179 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 carries as New Hampshire (2-6, 1-4 CAA) blanked Villanova, 34-0, for its first CAA win of the season. Washington broke loose for a 75-yard TD run on the opening play of the game and added a 16-yard scoring run late in the second quarter that gave the Wildcats a 24-0 advantage at the half. UNH quarterback Trevor Knight passed for 158 yards and ran for 27 yards and 2 TD's. UNH's defense held Villanova to just 164 total yards, including just 13 on the ground. Villanova (3-5, 0-5 in CAA) was led offensively by quarterback Zach Bednarczyk, who was 13-of-21 passing for 103 yards.
