Towson 41, Elon 10

Tom Flacco completed 26-of-43 passes for 326 yards and three touchdowns to lead No. 20 Towson (7-3, 5-2 CAA) to a 41-10 road victory over No. 5 Elon. It was the Tigers' first victory over a Top 5 foe since 2013. Towson never trailed in the contest as Flacco hit Chris Clark with a 4-yard pass in the first quarter and then connected on scoring tosses of 16 and 9 yards to Shane Leatherbury that extended the Tigers' advantage to 21-3 midway through the third quarter. Towson's defense held Elon to 238 total yards as linebacker Robert Heyward recorded 13 tackles and 3.5 TFL. The Phoenix (6-3, 4-2 CAA) closed within 21-10 late in the third quarter on a 17-yard TD run by quarterback Jalen Greene, who finished with 73 yards rushing on 13 carries. Freshman Jaylan Thomas also ran for 73 yards.

Stony Brook 17, Delaware 3

No. 12 Stony Brook (7-3, 5-2 CAA) used a powerful rushing attack and a strong defensive effort to top No. 11 Delaware, 17-3, snapping the Blue Hens' five-game winning streak. Donald Liotine rushed for 170 yards on 27 carries, including a 33-yard TD run with 5:27 to play that sealed the win. Jordan Gowins added 83 yards as the Seawolves piled up 222 yards on the ground. Joe Carbone threw a 27-yard TD pass to Donavin Washington that put SBU up 10-3 midway through the third quarter. The Seawolves defense limited Delaware (7-3, 5-2 CAA) to 197 total yards and recorded four sacks. The Blue Hens were led offensively by Dejoun Lee with 71 yards rushing on 15 carries. Defensively, Nasir Adderley recorded a game-high 13 tackles, 1.5 TFL and an interception.

New Hampshire 24, UAlbany 10

Freshman Carlos Washington, Jr. rushed for 142 yards on just11 carries as New Hampshire (4-6, 3-4 CAA) beat UAlbany, 24-10, for its third consecutive win. With the Wildcats up just 10-3 late in the third quarter, Washington broke loose for a 93-yard touchdown run. The Great Danes (2-8, 0-7 CAA) rallied back to within 17-10 when freshman quarterback Jeff Undercuffler hit Karl Mofor with a 28-yard TD pass with 14:52 to go. However UNH's defense, which limited UAlbany to just 180 yards in the contest, sealed the victory when Evan Horn intercepted a pass in the end zone with 7:31 remaining. Linebacker Quinlen Dean recorded seven tackles and made three of UNH's seven sacks. For UAlbany, Undercuffler was 15-of-34 passing for 167 yards. Danny Damico made 11 tackles for the Great Danes defense.

William & Mary 24, Villanova 17

William & Mary's defense forced four turnovers and picked up a 24-17 victory at Villanova. Isaiah Laster led the defensive effort for the Tribe (4-5, 3-3 CAA) with seven tackles, two interceptions and a fumble recovery. W&M took an early 7-0 lead on a 16-yard pass from Shon Mitchell to Tyler Klaus and expanded their advantage to 21-7 on an 18-yard TD pass from Ted Hefter to DeVonte Dedmon midway through the third quarter. Trailing 24-7 in the fourth quarter, Villanova (4-6, 1-6 CAA) tried to rally as Aaron Forbes caught a 5-yard scoring pass from Zach Bednarczyk, but had a potential game-tying drive end at the W&M 36-yard line with 1:10 to go. Hefter passed for 141 yards for W&M and Nate Evans added 58 yards and a TD on the ground. For Villanova, Bednarczyk threw for 212 yards and a score, while Forbes rushed for 77 yards and a TD to go along with his TD catch.

James Madison 48, Rhode Island 31

James Madison quarterback Ben DiNucci accounted for 271 yards of total offense and five touchdowns to push the No.9 Dukes (7-3, 5-2 CAA) past Rhode Island, 48-31. DiNucci threw three TD passes in the first half, including a pair to Riley Stapleton, as JMU built a 27-17 halftime advantage. With the Dukes still up by 10 in the fourth quarter, he tacked on a 1-yard run and capped the scoring with 15-yard strike to Kyndel Dean. Rhode Island (5-5, 3-4 CAA) got a strong effort from quarterback JaJuan Lawson, who was 22-of-37 passing for 255 yards and three touchdowns. All three TD catches were made by Marven Beauvais, who had seven receptions for 74 yards, while Aaron Parker also had seven grabs for 99 yards. 

Maine 28, Richmond 9

Quarterback Chris Ferguson completed 20-of-32 passes for 229 yards and four touchdowns in just three quarters of action as the No. 16 Black Bears (7-3, 6-1 CAA) took over sole possession of first place in CAA Football with a 28-9 triumph at Richmond. Ferguson threw TD passes to Earnest Edwards and Jaquan Blair in the first quarter as Maine jumped out to a 14-0 advantage. He found Edwards again from 29 yards out in the second quarter and hit Micah Wright with a 15-yard strike midway through the third period. Edwards finished with six receptions for 105 yards. The Black Bears defense limited Richmond (ss) to 281 total yards, including 29 on the ground. For the Spiders, quarterback Reid Chenault came off the bench to complete 19-of-34 passes for a career-high 224 yards and also ran for 32 yards and a TD.
