New Hampshire 35, James Madison 24

New Hampshire's defense forced six turnovers, including two interceptions that were returned for touchdowns, as the Wildcats (3-6, 2-4 CAA) knocked off No. 3 James Madison, 35-24. Rick Ellison had a 44-yard pick six in the first quarter and Evan Horn followed with a 75-yard pick six in the second quarter as UNH built a 21-3 lead at the half. Wildcats' quarterback Trevor Knight was 14-of-21 passing for 181 yards and 2 TD's and also had a 75-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter that gave UNH a commanding 35-10 advantage. Safety Pop Lacey recorded a team-high 11 tackles and an interception to pace the Wildcats' defense. For JMU (6-3, 4-2 CAA), quarterback Cole Johnson came off the bench in the first quarter and completed 31-of-48 passes for a career-high 398 yards and also ran for a TD. Riley Stapleton made eight catches for 116 yards.

Elon 24, Rhode Island 21

Freshman Jaylan Thomas rushed for a career-high 222 yards and a touchdown on only 18 carries to lead No. 6 Elon (6-2, 4-1 CAA) past Rhode Island, 24-21. Thomas broke loose for an 86-yard touchdown run late in the second quarter that put the Phoenix on top, 14-7. Elon tacked on another score with 19 seconds left before halftime when linebacker Warren Messer returned an interception 86 yards for a TD. Messer finished the day with a team-high 14 tackles, 2.5 TFL, and 2.0 sacks. Rhode Island (5-4, 3-3 CAA) got an outstanding performance from wide receiver Aaron Parker, who caught nine passes for a career-high 190 yards and three touchdowns. He had an 82-yard TD reception in the first quarter and then had scoring grabs of 4 and 20 yards in the fourth quarter. JaJuan Lawson returned at quarterback for the Rams and was 25-of-35 passing for 349 yards and 3 TD's.

Villanova 45, Richmond 21

Cornerback Nowoola Awopetu became the first player in Villanova history to have two pick sixes in a game as the Wildcats (4-5, 1-5) earned a 45-21 win at Richmond. Villanova led just 20-14 midway through the third quarter when Awopetu returned an interception 20 yards for a touchdown. He did it again five minutes later, taking an interception 18 yards for a score to put the Wildcats in control, 38-14. Offensively, freshman quarterback Qadir Ismail was 8-of-17 passing for 132 yards and a TD in his first career start, while Aaron Forbes rushed 160 yards and a TD on 20 carries to go over 2,000 yards for his career. Drew Kresge booted three field goals for VU. Richmond quarterback Joe Mancuso scored a TD on a 2-yard run and also caught a 28-yard pass from Caleb Drake on the opening drive of the third quarter, which pulled the Spiders (3-6, 1-5 CAA) within six.

Delaware 21, UAlbany 16

Kani Kane's 14-yard touchdown run with 18 seconds remaining lifted No. 13 Delaware (7-2, 5-1 CAA) past UAlbany, 21-16. The Blue Hens started their game-winning drive on their own 17 with 2:35 to go, but marched 83 yards in 11 plays to extend their winning streak to five. UAlbany (2-7, 0-6 CAA) had taken a 16-15 lead on Karl Mofor's 4-yard scoring run with 11:44 to play. Kane finished with 52 yards and 2 TD's rushing, while quarterback Pat Kehoe passed for 174 yards. Frank Raggo booted field goals of 50 and 33 yards for the Hens. The Great Danes' offense was paced by Elijah Ibitokun-Hanks with 78 yards and a TD rushing on 15 carries, while Mofor added 54 yards on the ground. Freshman quarterback Jeff Undercuffler passed for 171 yards in his first career start. 

Maine 35, Towson 28

Freshman Ramon Jefferson rushed for a career-high 121 yards and three touchdowns and Maine's defense came up with a big stop late as the No. 23 Black Bears (6-3, 5-1 CAA) edged No. 15 Towson, 35-28. Jefferson's 6-yard TD run with 6:29 remaining capped an 85-yard drive and snapped a 28-28 tie. The Tigers drove to the Maine 2-yard line with less than two minutes to go, but Sterling Sheffield came up a key stop on a fourth-down run to seal the Black Bears' victory. Along with Jefferson's big day, quarterback Chris Ferguson was 16-of-32 passing for 233 yards and hit Earnest Edwards with scoring tosses of 7 and 46 yards to put Maine ahead 14-0. Towson (6-3, 4-2 CAA) trailed 28-10 midway through the third quarter, but Shane Simpson caught a 26-yard TD pass from Tom Flacco and later scored on a 5-yard run that tied the contest with 10:14 to go. Flacco was 21-of-36 passing for 211 yards and 2 TD's and also ran for a team-high 67 yards.
