RICHMOND, Va. OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Carson Jones, Elon
Junior | Midfield/Forward | Charlotte, N.C./Providence Day
In a 2-0 week for Elon, Jones led the way with goals in both of the Phoenix’ wins. In a 2-1 comeback win over Charleston, Jones tallied the match-tying goal late in the first half, her eighth of the year. The junior struck just before the half again in Elon’s 3-2 victory over James Madison, as her team-leading ninth goal of the season proved to be the eventual game-winner. The victory lifted Elon to a 5-1-1 record in CAA play, currently tied for second with two matches to play.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Megan Adams, Northeastern
Sophomore | Goalkeeper | Franklin, Mass./Franklin
Adams tied her career-high with six saves in Northeastern’s 1-0 victory over Charleston on Sunday. The shutout was Adams’ third of the season and of her career. The victory lifted Northeastern into a tie for fifth in the CAA standings with two matches remaining in the regular season.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK:
Emily Moxley, UNCW
Freshman | Forward | Cary, N.C./Panther Creek
Moxley scored her team-leading fifth goal of the season as the Seahawks extended their unbeaten streak to six games with a 1-1 draw at CAA-leading Hofstra on Sunday. The 32nd-minute goal gave UNCW a 1-0 road lead before the eventual tie. The rookie of the week accolade is the second of the season for Moxley and her third CAA weekly honor this season. At 5-1-1 in CAA play, UNCW is tied for second with two matches left in the regular season.
