RICHMOND, Va. (November 25, 2019) – CAA Football has announced its weekly award winners for Week 13 of the 2019 season. Earning honors are Villanova junior wide receiver Changa Hodge, UAlbany junior running back Karl Mofor, New Hampshire junior safety Evan Horn, Elon sophomore kicker Skyler Davis and William & Mary freshman linebacker Isaiah Jones.
 
CAA Football Co-Offensive Player of the Week
Changa Hodge, Jr., WR, Villanova (East Stroudsburg, Pa./East Stroudsburg South)
 
Hodge made eight receptions for a career-high 236 yards and four touchdowns in Villanova’s 55-33 victory over Delaware. The junior had TD catches of 16 and 82 yards in the first half and 43 and 37 yards in the second half. He’s the first VU player with a 200+ yard receiving game since 1996 and the first with at least 4 TD catches since 1971. The 236 yards are the 5th-most by a FCS player this season.
 
CAA Football Co-Offensive Player of the Week
Karl Mofor, Jr., RB, UAlbany (Greenbelt, Md./Eleanor Roosevelt)
 
Mofor rushed for a career-high 176 yards and three touchdowns in UAlbany’s 31-26 triumph at Stony Brook. The junior scored a pair of first-quarter TD’s to give the Great Danes a 14-0 lead and then found the end zone from 3 yards out with 5:36 remaining in the game to help secure the victory. It was the 8th 100-yard outing of the season for Mofor, who leads the CAA with 1,204 rushing yards.
 
CAA Football Defensive Player of the Week
Evan Horn, Jr., S, New Hampshire (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest)
 
Horn recorded a career-high 11 tackles, 2.0 TFL’s, 2.0 sacks and a forced fumble as New Hampshire defeated Maine, 28-10. The junior’s forced fumble at the UNH 35 ended a Maine drive in the third quarter and he also helped down a punt at the 1-yard line on special teams. The junior safety led a Wildcats’ defense that held Maine to season-lows in total yards (313) and points (10).

CAA Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Skyler Davis, So., PK, Elon (Acworth, Ga./Allatoona)
 
Davis kicked three field goals, including a game-winning 35-yarder with 41 seconds remaining, as Elon knocked off Towson, 25-23. The sophomore was a perfect 3-for-3 on field goals, making a 40-yarder in the second quarter and a 29-yarder midway through the fourth quarter that pulled the Phoenix within one. He finished 10-for-15 on FG’s for the season.

CAA Football Rookie of the Week
Isaiah Jones, Fr., LB, William & Mary (Norristown, Pa./LaSalle College HS)
 
Jones was honored as the Capital Cup MVP after tallying a career-high nine tackles, 4.0 TFL’s, 2.0 sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in William & Mary’s 21-15 overtime win at Richmond. Jones’ sack of quarterback Joe Mancuso in the fourth quarter resulted in a fumble that was returned for the game-tying TD. The freshman helped lead a Tribe defense that held the Spiders to just 31 yards rushing.
