This Week In CAA Football - Playoff Quarterfinals Preview

Second-seeded James Madison hosts Northern Iowa in the quarterfinals of the FCS playoffs on Friday night in a game televised nationally on ESPN2. It's the third time in the last four years that the Dukes have been featured in a nationally televised Friday night game, having beat Sam Houston State, 65-7, in 2016, and Weber State, 31-28, in 2017.
JMU set playoff program records for points (66) and yards (623) in a 66-21 victory over Big South champ Monmouth in the second round of the FCS playoffs last Saturday. Quarterback Ben DiNucci accounted for 339 yards of offense and 4 TD's as the Dukes won their 12th straight game. With the win, CAA Football continued its streak of having at least one team advance to the quarterfinals every year since 1991.
