CAA Football Has 19 Players Recognized On HERO Sports All-America Teams

HERO SPORTS FCS ALL-AMERICA TEAMS
RICHMOND, Va. (December 16, 2019) – CAA Football had 19 players recognized on the 2019 HERO Sports FCS All-America team.
CAA champion James Madison had 10 players honored, which was the most of any school in the nation, while UAlbany and Rhode Island each had three.
Receiving first-team All-America accolades from HERO were JMU junior offensive lineman
Liam Fornadel, Rhode Island senior offensive lineman
Kyle Murphy, Rhode Island senior wide receiver
Aaron Parker (81 rec., 1,224 yds., 9 TD’s), JMU senior defensive lineman
Ron’Dell Carter (57 tackles, 25.0 TFL, 11.5 sacks, 13 QBH), Elon senior cornerback
Greg Liggs, Jr. (49 tackles, 8 int., 5 PBU), Maine senior kick returner
Earnest Edwards (28.5 KOR average, 2 TD’s), and William & Mary senior defensive lineman
Bill Murray (46 tackles, 11.5 TFL’s, 4 blocked kicks), who was honored for his play on special teams.
Named to the second team were JMU senior quarterback
Ben DiNucci (227-of-319, 2,982 yds., 25 TD’s), UAlbany junior running back
Karl Mofor (264 att., 1,290 yds., 10 TD’s) UAlbany senior wide receiver
Juwan Green (83 rec., 1,386 yds., 17 TD’s), JMU senior defensive lineman
John Daka (58 tackles, 26.5 TFL, 16.5 sacks, 4 FF), JMU senior linebacker
Dimitri Holloway (111 tackles, 10.5 TFL, 3 FR), Rhode Island senior kick returner
Ahmere Dorsey (26.8 KOR average, 2 TD’s) and JMU junior safety
D’Angelo Amos (13.7 punt return avg., 3 blocked kicks), who was honored for special teams.
Selected to the third team were JMU junior running back
Percy Agyei-Obese (228 att., 1,098 yds., 19 TD’s), JMU senior offensive lineman
Mac Patrick, UAlbany senior defensive lineman
Eli Mencer (61 tackles, 24.0 TFL, 14.5 sacks, 5 FF), JMU senior safety
Adam Smith (60 tackles, 6 int., 8 PBU), and JMU junior kicker
Ethan Ratke (22-of-28 FGs, 74-of-75 XPs).
HERO Sports also announced its Freshman and Sophomore All-America teams on Tuesday.

Jeff Undercuffler (262-of-464, 3,543 yards, 41 TD's), Delaware running back
Will Knight (125 att., 919 yds., 7 TD's), Richmond linebacker
Tristan Wheeler (104 tackles, 3.5 TFL), William & Mary punter
George Eberle (41.8 avg., 8 inside 20) and Richmond kick returner
Aaron Dykes (27.1 KOR avg., 2 TD's).
Making the freshman All-America second team were Villanova running back
DeeWil Barlee (138 att., 724 yds., 6 TD's), Villanova wide receiver

Bronson Yoder (26.9 KOR avg., 2 TD's) and New Hampshire running back/returner

Named to the sophomore All-America first team were Stony Brook sophomore offensive lineman
James Tunstall and Richmond defensive lineman
Kobie Turner (71 tackles, 14.5 TFL, 7.0 sacks). Selected to the second team was Delaware linebacker
