Pairings Set For 2019 CAA Baseball Championship

2019 CAA Baseball Championship Bracket
RICHMOND, Va. (May 18, 2019) – The pairings are set for the 2019 CAA Baseball Championship, which will be held May 22-25 at Veterans Memorial Park in Harrisonburg, Va.
The six-team, double-elimination tournament, which features a revised format, gets underway on Wednesday, May 22 as fourth-seeded Northeastern (26-27, 12-12 in CAA) faces #5 UNCW (28-28, 12-12 in CAA) at Noon, followed by #3 William & Mary (31-20, 12-12 in CAA) against #6 James Madison (31-24, 11-13 in CAA) at 4 p.m.
On Thursday, action starts at 11 a.m. with an elimination game between the losers of Wednesday’s contests. Top-seeded Elon (30-22, 19-5 in CAA) takes on the lowest-seeded winner from Wednesday’s games at 3 p.m., followed by #2 Charleston (36-19, 16-8 in CAA) against the highest-seeded winner from Wednesday’s contests at 7 p.m.
Tournament action continues with three games on Friday and another at 1 p.m. on Saturday, setting the stage for the CAA championship game set at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
All-session tickets are $25 and single-day passes are $10. Students from participating CAA institutions are admitted free with a valid student ID. All tickets are general admission with no reserved seating.
The first nine games of the 2019 CAA Baseball Championship will be video streamed live for free in high definition on CAA.TV as well as OTT platforms Roku, AppleTV, Amazon Fire TV and Android TV.
