RICHMOND, Va. (Oct. 26, 2021) – The Colonial Athletic Association will play 16 men’s basketball games on CBS Sports Network during the 2021-22 season, as a collection of 11 conference matchups, two non-league home dates against high-profile visitors, and the CAA Championship semifinals and final will be available to a national television audience.

The CAA’s games on CBS Sports Network this season will begin on Tuesday, Nov. 16, when Charleston welcomes North Carolina to TD Arena. The meeting between the Cougars and Tar Heels will be one of two CAA games against ACC opponents to be televised on the network, as James Madison will get a visit from Virginia on Tuesday, Dec. 7.

Conference play in the CAA begins Wednesday, Dec. 29, and CBS Sports Network will carry defending CAA champion Drexel’s trip to Charleston. Two days later, college basketball fans will be treated to a New Year’s Eve matinee between Hofstra and Elon.

January begins with a Monday night doubleheader on CBS Sports Network, as James Madison travels to Delaware and Towson makes the trip to Drexel on January 3. Towson hosts Hofstra for a January 11 showdown, while Delaware heads to Boston for a January 17 meeting with Northeastern.

Five CAA games will be televised in the month of February, beginning with a February 3 clash of James Madison and Northeastern. A Saturday matchup of UNCW and William & Mary follows two days later in Williamsburg before James Madison hosts Elon on February 10.

The final two dates of the regular-season conference TV package will take place on Thursday, Feb. 17 and Saturday, Feb. 26, and will be “wild card” games to give CAA and college basketball fans the best matchups possible on national television in the final two weekends of the regular season.

The Colonial Athletic Association Men’s Basketball Championship returns to the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, D.C., in March, and the semifinals and final will be carried on CBS Sports Network on March 7 and 8.
