CAA Field Hockey Weekly Awards – Apr. 6
RICHMOND, Va. (Apr. 6, 2021) – James Madison swept the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) weekly field hockey awards as Eveline Zwager was named CAA Player of the Week while Lauren Satchell earned CAA Rookie of the Week honors.

Zwager helped James Madison stay unbeaten in CAA play scoring her first goal of the season in a 2-1 win over Drexel. In the match, Zwager recorded a game-high six shots, five of which were on goal, and picked up two points on one goal. She broke a scoreless tie in the first quarter off a corner to put the Dukes ahead.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Lauren Satchell, James Madison

Satchell recorded her first collegiate goal in the Dukes’ victory over Drexel to improve to 2-0 in CAA conference play. With the score tied 1-1 in the third quarter the freshman forward rebounded a deflected shot and netted a goal to take a 2-1 lead in what would end up being the difference in the game.
