Northeastern Alum Chaisson Allen Named Wisconsin Herd Head Coach

OSHKOSH, Wis. (Sept. 24, 2021) – Northeastern men’s basketball alum Chaisson Allen has been hired as head coach of the Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G-League affiliate of the defending NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks.
 
Allen returns to Wisconsin after spending last season as an assistant coach with the Long Island Nets. The Tennessee native was an assistant for the Herd after stops with the Capital City Go-Go and in the college ranks with Miami after a professional career overseas.
 
Allen was a first-team All-CAA selection for Northeastern in 2010 and 2011 and earned three selections to the CAA All-Defensive Team along with an all-rookie nod as a freshman. He ranks seventh in CAA history with 232 career steals.
