RICHMOND, Va. (Oct. 27, 2022) – Two CAA Championship trophies will be awarded in Delaware, a conference tournament will begin, and pivotal regular-season matchups will be contested in the final weekend of October.
Women’s Soccer
Eight teams continue their seasons Thursday in a quest for the CAA Women’s Soccer Championship presented by Primis. Monmouth and Drexel will host the opening weekend sites with the final two teams remaining squaring off next weekend. Head to

Men’s Soccer
The final Saturday of the regular season features five games, including a winner-take-all for the regular season title. That game is in Wilmington, where first-place Elon visits second-place UNCW (7 p.m., FloFC). A Phoenix win or a draw would earn the No. 1 seed for Elon, while the Seahawks move into the top spot with a victory.
Hofstra also has the potential to be an opening weekend host with a victoy over Charleston (1 p.m., FloFC) and an Elon win over UNCW, while games between Monmouth and William & Mary, Northeastern and Delaware, and Drexel and Stony Brook (all 4 p.m., on FloFC) have postseason implications. |
Weekend Schedule
Volleyball
Three weeks remain in CAA Volleyball, and plenty is left to decide in the conference race. The schedule features nine conference matchups and one non-conference contest, all of which can be seen on FloVolleyball. Several matchups could shake up the conference standings. Second-place Towson (9-1) will host William & Mary (6-4), who is tied for third in the CAA standings. The Tribe looks to continue its rise, entering the series on a three-match winning streak, while Towson aims to keep pace in pursuit of a third straight regular season title. Additionally, North Carolina A&T (5-7) will host Northeastern (6-4) as the teams meet for the first time. The Huskies are looking for their first road win this season to remain in the top third of the conference standings, while the Aggies have won four straight CAA matches and trail Northeastern by one game in the win column. Another first-time matchup features Charleston (5-5) entertaining Stony Brook (4-8). The Cougars are looking to bounce back and get above .500 in conference play, while the Seawolves are looking to stay in striking distance of the six teams in the mix, third through ninth. |

Field Hockey
The final weekend of the regular season in CAA Field Hockey has arrived. There are two conference showdowns on Friday and seven non-conference contests over the rest of the weekend. On Friday, both matchups will factor into seeding for the CAA Tournament. Monmouth visits Drexel at 4 p.m. (FloLive) as the Hawks attempt to earn a share of the regular season title and the top seed in the CAA Tournament with a victory. Meanwhile, the Dragons look to improve their positioning ahead of the conference championship and avoid back-to-back losses for the first time in nearly a month. Monmouth enters the contest on a four-match winning streak, while Drexel has won four of its past five, with both teams looking to enter the postseason riding high. Concurrently, Northeastern will entertain Towson as the Huskies joust for tournament seeding. The Tigers will look to play spoiler and earn its first conference victory this fall, while Northeastern aims to enter the CAA Tournament with back-to-back conference victories. |

Swimming & Diving
Four CAA swimming and diving teams are in action this week, highlighted by UNCW entertaining ACC foe Duke. Stony Brook hosts Sacred Heart to open its season, Monmouth visits Seton Hall and Towson makes the short trip to Loyola for the Thomas Murphy Invite.
