NCAA FCS PLAYOFF BRACKET

After a competitive regular-season race, five CAA Football teams were rewarded with berths in the NCAA FCS playoffs. The five playoff teams were tied for the most of any conference and were the most for the CAA since a league-record six teams made the field in 2018.

William & Mary (10-1) earned a #5 national seed and a first-round bye, but four CAA teams are in action on Saturday. The day starts at Noon as No. 12 Elon (8-3) takes a three-game winning streak into its game at No. 11 Furman (9-2). Three games get underway at 2 p.m. No. 23 Delaware (7-4) entertains Northeast Conference champ Saint Francis (9-2), No. 15 New Hampshire (8-3) entertains No. 16 Fordham (9-2) and No. 13 Richmond (8-3) welcomes Davidson (8-3). All four games can be seen on ESPN+.

The CAA has at least two teams advance to the second round of the FCS playoffs every year since the final expanded to 20 (and then 24) teams in 2010. The conference has had at least one team in the quarterfinals every year since 1995 and has had at least one team in the semifinals for the past nine seasons.

Get ready for Saturday's games with this week's edition of Three Things To Watch.
