RICHMOND, Va. (Feb. 7, 2022) – The Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) has announced Delaware’s Jasmine Dickey and Dani McTeer of William & Mary as the recipients of CAA women’s basketball weekly awards following their contributions last week.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jasmine Dickey, Delaware
Senior | Guard / Forward | Baltimore, Md. / Catonsville
Dickey averaged 38.0 points and 17.0 rebounds per game, leading Delaware to a 2-0 week in conference play. The senior had a record-setting performance on Friday night, tallying a career-high 52 points and tying a career-best with 18 rebounds as the Blue Hens defeated Charleston 103-79. She became the first player to record 52 points and 18 rebounds against a DI opponent since 2009-10 and is the only player in NCAA DI to post a 40+ and 50+ point performance this season. The 52 points set a Bob Carpenter facility record and rank second all-time in Delaware and CAA history for points scored in a single game. Dickey followed the impressive performance with 24 points and 16 rebounds in a 77-62 win over UNCW, marking her third consecutive double-double. The 24 points on Sunday moved Dickey into second place on Delaware’s all-time scoring list with 1,680 career points. Dickey has scored 20 or more points in 14 games this season, and she sits second in the NCAA this season, averaging 25.4 points per game.
