The 11-5 Blue Hens, CAA Champions for the first time since 2011, will host the Atlantic Sun champion Colonials, who improved to 10-5 with an overtime victory in their conference title game on Saturday. Delaware captured the CAA crown on Saturday with an 11-6 victory over Towson in Philadelphia. Tye Kurtz was named Most Outstanding Player of the Championship, while teammates Matt Kilkeary, Mike Robinson, and J.P. Ward joined him on the All-Tournament Team.

Delaware has been ranked as high as No. 17 in the USILA poll, No. 16 in the Inside Lacrosse poll, and No. 14 in the USA Lacrosse Magazine rankings this season. The Blue Hens are receiving votes in all three polls this week. Defenseman Owen Grant was named CAA Defensive Player of the Year at the conclusion of the regular season and joined by Ward on the All-CAA first team.

Wednesday’s game is slated for 7 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+. The winner will advance to face No. 2 Georgetown this weekend on a date and time to be determined in Washington, D.C.
