Three CAA Football Teams Among Top 12 In Latest FCS Top 25 Rankings

RICHMOND, Va. (November 13, 2023) – Three CAA Football teams are among the top 12 in the latest Stats Perform FCS Top 25 poll released on Monday, with those same three squads ranked in the AFCA Top 25.

Delaware (8-2) moved up to #6 in the AFCA poll and #7 in the Stats poll following its 45-7 road win at Campbell last week. The Blue Hens host nationally ranked Villanova in the Battle of the Blue on Saturday.

Villanova (8-2) jumped to #10 in the Stats poll and #15 in the AFCA poll after a 33-10 victory over Towson last Saturday. The Wildcats make the short trip to rival Delaware this week in a Top 10 showdown.

UAlbany (8-3) vaulted to #12 in the Stats rankings and #23 in the AFCA rankings after beating rival Stony Brook, 38-20, last week. The Great Danes entertain Monmouth this Saturday.

Richmond (7-3) was among other teams receiving votes in both polls, while Rhode Island (6-4) and William & Mary (6-4) also got votes in the AFCA Top 25.
