The Seahawks will play in a 14-team regional at the Jimmie Austin OU Golf Course with Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Alabama, Ole Miss, Wake Forest, Duke, LSU, North Florida, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Princeton, and Arkansas-Pine Bluff. UNCW is in a Regional for the fourth time in the last five years and first since finishing eighth in Noblesville, Indiana, in 2021.

van Wyk will compete against the teams from North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Texas A&M, San Diego State, Georgia Southern, Arkansas, Purdue, New Mexico, Clemson, Furman, Middle Tennessee, Northern Illinois, LIU, and Longwood and individuals from UCF, Coastal Carolina, and Radford. van Wyk tied for fourth at the Palm Beach Gardens Regional last May.

Both regionals will be played May 15-17. The top five teams plus the top individual from a non-advancing team in each of the six regionals will play in the national championship at Grayhawk Golf Club in Arizona on May 26-31.
