			PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (Sept. 21, 2023) – Five CAA Men’s Lacrosse student-athletes were selected in the National Lacrosse League (NLL) draft on Saturday, September 16.
 
Teammates 
Ryan Sheridan and 
Justin Sykes from Hofstra as well as 
Mike Robinson and 
Reed Kurtz from Delaware and 
Noah Armitage from Stony Brook comprise the CAA student-athletes drafted in the 2023 NLL Draft.
 
Sheridan was selected in the first round with the fifth overall pick by Panther City Lacrosse Club before his teammate, Sykes, went to Panther City LC one round later with the 21
st overall selection. Armitage was the next off the board, going 27
th overall to the San Diego Seals in the second round, one pick ahead of Robinson, who was taken by the Halifax Thunderbirds. Kurtz was chosen with the 14
th pick in the second round, landing with the New York Riptide to round things out for the CAA.
 
The NLL is a professional men’s lacrosse box league with 15 teams across the United States and Canada. The indoor league begins in December and ends in April.
