RICHMOND, Va. (November 25, 2024) – Elon sophomore guard Nick Dorn earned CAA men’s basketball Player of the Week honors while Delaware freshman guard Izaiah Pasha received CAA Rookie of the Week accolades.
CAA PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Nick Dorn, Elon
Sophomore | Guard | Charlotte, N.C. / Julius L. Chambers
Dorn averaged 18.0 points and 5.0 rebounds as Elon posted road victories over Northern Illinois (75-48) and ACC foe Notre Dame (84-77) last week. The sophomore guard tallied 12 points and four rebounds in 24 minutes at NIU before turning in an outstanding effort in the upset of the Irish with a team-high 24 points on 8-of-10 FG shooting, including 5-of-6 from three, and six boards. It was Elon’s first victory over a Power Four opponent since 2012.
CAA ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Izaiah Pasha, Delaware

Pasha averaged 14.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists in Delaware’s three games last week. The freshman guards scored a career-high 20 points on 7-of-9 FG shooting at Vermont and followed with 17 points and nine rebounds in a victory over defending Ivy League champion Yale. For the week, Pasha shot 53.6% from the floor and made 11-of-13 (84.6%) at the line.
