Taylor Vaccaro are the CAA field hockey weekly award winners for the week ending November 3.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jess Tucker, Monmouth
Senior | Midfielder | Havelock North, New Zealand / Havelock North
Tucker picks up her second CAA Offensive Player of the Week honor after previously receiving the award on Sept. 16. The senior midfielder led an offensive masterclass, which saw Monmouth earn a 10-1 victory over William & Mary, and earn a spot in the postseason in the regular season finale. Tucker netted her first career hat trick in the win and leads the team with 25 points this season.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Anna Moors, Monmouth
Sophomore | Defender | Tilburg, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands / Odulphus Lyceum
Coming off a National Division I Player of the Week award from the NFHCA, Moors picked up right where she left off to earn her third CAA Defensive Player of the Week honor. Netting her second consecutive hat trick against William & Mary, Moors's seven points became the most in a game by a Hawk since Annick van Lange on Oct. 16, 2022. The Dutchwoman has scored a career-high and team-leading 11 goals this season, putting her in a tie in the CAA for most goals.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Taylor Vaccaro, Delaware
Freshman | Midfield | Oley, Pa. / Olley Valley
Vaccaro earns her second CAA Rookie of the Week Honor after netting her second goal of the season in Friday’s double overtime contest against Drexel. Down 1-0 heading into the second quarter, Vaccaro was found on the breakaway when she went through the legs of the Drexel goalkeeper to tie the contest.
