Three CAA Track & Field Student-Athletes to Compete at 2024 NCAA Indoor Championships

BOSTON, Mass. (March 7, 2024) – Three CAA Men’s Track and Field student-athletes will compete on the biggest stage at the 2024 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships.
The three-day event begins Thursday, March 7, at the TRACK at New Balance in Boston, Mass. The running event semifinals will be held on Friday evening, beginning at 4 p.m. with the men’s mile. The men’s 800m semifinals will run at 4:50 p.m., and the men’s 60m hurdle semifinals will follow at 5:05 p.m.

The top three finishers from each section of the 800m, plus the next two fastest times, will advance to the finals on Saturday. In the 60m hurdles, the top two finishers from each heat plus the next four fastest times will move to the finals.
Davis won the 800m at the South Carolina Invitational in a personal-best 1:47.05 to rank 12th in the NCAA this season. The freshman bettered his time in his first three collegiate 800m races, leading to his conference record in Columbia.
Exilhomme won the 60m hurdles at the UMass Flagship Indoor Invitational in a Northeastern and CAA record 7.60. The time is the fifth-fastest in the NCAA this season. The junior earned All-America honorable mention accolades last spring, finishing 17th in the 110m hurdles at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship.
Holmes won all four 60m hurdles races he has run in this winter and ran his best race at the CAA Championships. He won the crown in a meet-record 7.65. The sophomore posted five times sub 7.80 in the event this season, with his personal-best time at the conference championship ranking 12th in the NCAA this season.
ESPN+ will stream the championships live starting at 9:30 a.m. Eastern time on Friday, March 8, and starting at 11:30 a.m. Eastern time on Saturday, March 9. There will be a re-air of the championships at 9 p.m. Eastern time on Monday, March 11 on ESPNU.
