RICHMOND, Va. (April 27, 2024) – New Hampshire running back/returner Dylan Laube was selected in the sixth round (208th overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft by the Las Vegas Raiders on Saturday afternoon.

Laube is the 14th UNH alumnus to be drafted by an NFL team, but the first since Jared Smith in 2013. His selection makes it the 18th time in the past 19 years that at least one CAA Football player has been chosen in the NFL Draft.

Laube, the 2023 CAA Special Teams Player of the Year, was a consensus All-America selection last season. He led the FCS in all-purpose yardage for the second consecutive season with 2,095 yards in 10 games. The versatile senior ranked third nationally in kickoff return average (31.1 ypr) and 16th in punt return average (11.2 ypr), which included a 100-yard kickoff return for a TD vs. Delaware and a 58-yard punt return for a TD vs. Stonehill. Laube also led New Hampshire in rushing with 749 yards and 9 TD’s and receiving with 68 receptions for 699 yards and 7 TD’s. He ranked 8th in FCS in receptions per game.

Other CAA Football standouts are expected to sign free agent contracts or earn mini-camp invitations in the coming days.
