RICHMOND, Va. (April 8, 2024) – The CAA has announced its men’s lacrosse weekly awards for the week beginning on April 1 and ending on April 7. In addition, Delaware senior goalkeeper Kevin Ellington and freshman teammate John McCurry received the respective honors of CAA Defensive Player and CAA Rookie of the Week.

CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Gallagher paced Towson with six points on three goals and three assists, leading the Tigers to their first 4-0 start to CAA play since 2010. The senior midfielder notched new career highs for points and assists in the effort while matching his career-best goal output in a 15-11 win over Hofstra. Gallagher assisted on the opening goal of the game before scoring the second for the Tigers, followed by three points – two goals and one helper – during Towson’s decisive 10-0 run in the first half.
