BETHEL, Ohio (June 2, 2024) — The Northeastern women's rowing team placed 18th overall in the Division I team standings on the final day of competition at the 2024 NCAA Rowing Championship.
As Northeastern made its tenth consecutive appearance at the national championship regatta, the Huskies rowed to 18th place in the varsity eight classification (seeded No. 18), 19th place in the second varsity eight classification (seeded No. 19) and 20th place in the varsity four classification (seeded No. 19). This marked the Huskies' second-straight 18th place finish at the NCAA Regatta, their best showings since 2017.
- The varsity four started the day off with a second-place finish in the D final with a time of 7:42.081, just under two seconds behind of first place SMU.
- Northeastern's second varsity eight finished their weekend on a high note, placing first in the D final, crossing the finish line in a time of 6:53.263.
- Rowing in the C final for the second consecutive year, the first varsity eight finished in a time of 6:38.497.
