OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ivey Crain, William & Mary
Junior | Forward | Milton, Ga. / Pinecrest Academy
Crain scored in both games of a six-point weekend to open CAA play for William & Mary. The junior from Georgia scored the opening goal of Thursday’s 3-0 win at Hampton and added a tally late in the Tribe’s 2-0 Sunday victory over UNCW. William & Mary is 2-0-0 to open its conference slate for the first time since 2013.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Joella Chase, Drexel
Graduate Student | Goalkeeper | Rutherford, N.J. / Bergen County Academies
Chase totaled 13 saves over two contests to help Drexel earn points against both teams to play in last year’s CAA title game. The grad student from North Jersey recorded a career-high seven saves to shut out defending league champion Towson and made six stops in a 2-2 draw against Monmouth.
CO-ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Katie Bisgrove, Elon
Freshman | Goalkeeper | Ridgewood, N.J. / Ridgewood
Bisgrove made five saves in Elon’s comeback win over Northeastern on Sunday to keep the Phoenix undefeated in 2024. The freshman from North Jersey saw 21 shots as Elon erased an early deficit for a 2-1 victory. Bisgrove is 4-0-1 with a 0.40 goals-against average in her freshman campaign.
CO-ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Abby Connolly, Campbell
Freshman | Midfielder | Thomasville, N.C. / East Davidson
Connolly notched a goal and an assist in a six-point weekend for Campbell to start the Camels in a tie atop the table. The freshman from North Carolina scored an insurance goal in Campbell’s 2-0 win over UNCW on Thursday before recording an assist in the Camels’ convincing win over Hampton on Sunday.
