Madison Durr unloaded a 40-point effort going 10-for-11 from the floor and 19-for-19 from the free-throw line to help Monmouth (6-16, 4-5 CAA) to a 104-97 double-overtime victory over Drexel (12-10, 4-5 CAA). Durr surpassed Creighton’s Steven Ashworth and Navy’s Austin Benigni (17-17 FT) for the top mark by an NCAA Division I player for the most free throws made without a miss in a game this season.
Drexel had an early four-point lead before Abdi Bashir Jr. took over the game. The sophomore guard sank six 3-pointers in a span of 7:05, part of the team’s 29-7 run that gave them an 18-point lead with under five minutes to play in the first half. Bashir finished with 32 points and eight treys in the win. Drexel’s Yame Butler finished a putback attempt through contact, drawing the and-one and completing the three-point play to pull the Dragons’ deficit down to 44-33 at the break. Butler and Villiam Garcia Adsten led six Dragons in double figures with 17 points apiece. Drexel erased a 13-point second-half deficit at the end of regulation as Shane Blakeney went coast-to-coast before pulling up at the arc for a game-tying trey and forcing overtime deadlocked at 80. The two teams exchanged six lead changes and four ties in the first extra period. Durr scored 12 of the team’s 14 points in the second overtime to secure the win.
Campbell 96, William & Mary 55

Caleb Zurliene led a balanced scoring effort for Campbell (11-11, 6-3 CAA) with 17 points in the team’s 96-55 victory over William & Mary (7-2, 13-9 CAA), handing the Tribe just its second loss in conference play. Jasin Sinani and Nolan Dorsey chipped in 15 points and three triples apiece in the win. Colby Duggan and Eric van der Heijden rounded out those in double figures with 13 points.
The Camels flew out of the gate with a 26-7 run, hitting five treys through the opening 13:43. Sinani and Dorsey expanded Campbell’s lead to 26 as the duo knocked down back-to-back treys to cap off a 10-0 stretch for a 36-10 advantage. The Camels took a 38-17 lead into the intermission with Zurliene scoring 12 points in the first half. Duggan, Sinani and Dorsey each nailed a 3-pointer to open the second half, part of a 16-4 run. Campbell continued to expand its lead before securing a 41-point victory, the largest margin of victory by a CAA team in league play since 2019. Matteus Case led W&M with 17 points.
Charleston 81, Stony Brook 74

AJ Smith and Derrin Boyd registered 25 points apiece to lift Charleston (17-5, 7-2 CAA) to an 81-74 win over Stony Brook (5-17, 1-8 CAA). The duo combined to shoot 17-for-32 with seven treys. Ante Brzovic scored 17 points in the win, while CJ Fulton also recorded a double-double with 11 rebounds and 11 assists.
Collin O’Connor and CJ Luster combined for 13 points to propel Stony Brook out to a 15-0 lead to open the game. Luster finished with a game-high 27 points. Charleston’s Brzovic beat the halftime horn with a floater in the paint to bring the Cougars to within four, 36-32, at the break. Stony Brook knocked down seven 3-pointers in the opening half with Leon Nahar hitting three treys through 20 minutes. Smith unloaded 11 of the team’s first 14 points of the second half to claim a 46-41 edge at the under-16 media timeout. It was all Cougars from that point as the home team bumped its lead to double digits with five straight points from Boyd. Charleston saw its lead grow to as many as 13 with under 2:30 to play following 11 unanswered points capped off by a Smith three-point play at 2:12. Charleston held on the rest of the way for the victory.
Towson 76, Delaware 66

Dylan Williamson registered a 27-point performance on 11-of-19 shooting and five treys as Towson (13-9, 8-1 CAA) claimed the top spot in the CAA with a 76-66 win over Delaware (11-11, 4-5 CAA). Tyler Tejada and Nendah Tarke also reached double figures in scoring with 15 and 14 points, respectively.
Towson and Delaware exchanged 12 lead changes and seven ties until the Blue Hens’ John Camden sank a pair of 3-pointers, part of an 8-2 spurt that gave his team a 31-25 lead with 3:11 remaining. The Tigers’ Tejada scored the final eight points for Towson to pull within four, 33-29, at halftime. The visitors continued to play catch up until Tigers’ Williamson unleashed 10 straight points with a pair of treys to claim a 49-42 lead. Shortly after, Delaware orchestrated a 14-3 run to reclaim a 59-54 lead as Izaiah Pasha finished at the rim with under six minutes to play. After Towson tied the game once again, Williamson took over with back-to-back treys and a layup to propel the Tigers out to a lead they would not relinquish. Camden led four Blue Hens in double figures with 17 points.
Hofstra 74, Elon 63

An 18-point effort from Cruz Davis and a 15-point, 13-board double-double by Michael Graham propelled Hofstra (12-10, 4-5 CAA) to a 74-63 win over Elon (14-8, 5-4 CAA). Jean Aranguren also posted a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds to go with five helpers.
After a quick back-and-forth exchange, Hofstra unleashed a 27-11 run. Joshua DeCady, who scored 14 of his 15 points in the first half, knocked down a triple to give the Pride a 35-21 lead with under four minutes to play. Elon’s Nick Dorn drained a 3-pointer as time expired to slash the Phoenix’s deficit to seven, 39-32, at halftime. The Pride sank a trio of treys in the first four minutes of the second half to nearly double its advantage, 50-37. Hofstra prevented the Phoenix from trimming its lead to fewer than eight down the stretch. Aranguren knocked down a pair of free throws at the end of the game to secure the 11-point win.
UNCW 83, N.C. A&T 59

A balanced scoring effort led UNCW (17-5, 7-2 CAA) to an 83-59 victory over North Carolina A&T (4-19, 0-10 CAA). Khamari McGriff scored 16 points on 8-of-11 shooting. Bo Montgomery and Sean Moore chipped in 15 points apiece, while the latter logged a double-double with 12 boards. Donovan Newby and Greedy Williams added six helpers apiece, part of a 23-assist night for UNCW.
The Seahawks jumped out to an 18-9 advantage, only to see the Aggies’ Jahnathan Lamothe score six straight points, part of a 9-0 spurt to tie the game at 18 with 9:35 to play. UNCW closed the half on a 24-7 as G. Williams drew contact on a 3-point attempt and knocked down all three of his chances at the line to take a 42-25 lead into halftime. McGriff and Donovan Newby helped the Seahawks expand its lead to 24 through the first 9:21 of the second half, combining for 14 of its first 21 points to go up, 63-39. N.C. A&T’s Lamothe drained three treys to end the game, finishing with 20 points. Nikolaos Chitikoudis scored 16 points in his return to the hardwood.
Northeastern 78, Hampton 69

Harold Woods led Northeastern (12-10, 4-5 CAA) with 16 points in the team’s 78-69 win over Hampton (10-12, 3-7 CAA). LA Pratt chipped in 12 points, while Rashad King and JB Frankel added 11 points apiece in the road victory. The duo also registered seven and six rebounds, respectively.
Frankel sank a pair of triples to open the game and sent the Huskies out to a 24-7 lead. After the Pirates slashed its deficit to as few as eight, it was as close as they would get the rest of the way. A 15-0 run by Northeastern, capped off by another Frankel trey, ballooned the lead to as many as 23 before securing a 44-25 advantage at halftime. The Huskies utilized balanced scoring to open the second half as Pratt and Woods combined for 10 of the team’s first 13 points as the lead bumped to 57-27 with 13:33 to play. Hampton trimmed its deficit to as few as 20 before the final horn as Tyler Rice sank a trio of triples. Pirates’ George Beale Jr. led the all scorers with 19 points.
