Talon Dingledine picked up CAA Men’s Golfer of the Week honors on Wednesday after shooting a 6-under at the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational hosted by West Virginia.

Dingledine remained hot to open his collegiate career after shooting a 6-under and tying for sixth on the Nemacolin Resort's Mystic Rock course. The freshman registered a bogey-free, 3-under 69 in the first round on Monday before posting a 2-under 70 later in the day. The Chesterfield, Va. native logged a 1-under 71 on Tuesday to secure his third top 10 finish in as many events to start his collegiate career. Dingledine only made four bogeys across three rounds and has yet to shoot higher than 74 this year.
