Stony Brook’s Rich Tabbed to TopDrawerSoccer.com’s Division I Midseason Top 100

RICHMOND, Va. – The CAA’s leading scorer, Stony Brook forward Reilly Rich, found herself ranked No. 60 on TopDrawerSoccer.com’s Division I Midseason Top 100 list.
 
The Ilion, N.Y., product has been on a tear in her final season, registering a CAA-best 24 points that puts her 13th in the country. Her 10 goals are also tops in the league and rank 12th in the nation. Rich has unloaded 4.6 shots per game, good for sixth in NCAA Division I.
 
The Seawolves’ attacker has registered a brace in two contests this season, managing a two-goal effort against Quinnipiac on Aug. 21 and New Haven a week later. Rich's top performance of the season earned her TopDrawerSoccer.com’s National Player of the Week honors after her hat trick propelled Stony Brook past Yale, 5-3. Rich’s second goal of the affair saw national prominence as she bent a shot into the top right corner from 25 yards out to earn the fourth spot on ESPN’s SportsCenter Top 10.
 
Rich has helped the Seawolves to a 9-4-1 record this season, including a 4-2-0 mark in league action. Stony Brook returns to action on Thursday when it heads down to Charleston for a 7 p.m. tilt.
