RICHMOND, Va. – Despite an incredible weekend across the league’s men’s golf programs that saw three medalist honors, Elon’s
Landon Durham produced record-setting numbers at the Phoenix Invitational to secure CAA Men’s Golfer of the Week honors on Wednesday.

Durham unleashed the best 54-hole outing in program history, carding a 17-under 196 at Elon’s home event and besting the field of 93. After shooting a 1-under 70 in the opening round, the senior unloaded back-to-back scores of 8-under 63 to close out the event and capture medalist honors. His 126 over the final two rounds also set the Elon benchmark for the lowest 36-hole score. Durham came out flying during his bogey-free second round, featuring birdies on four of the first five holes before eagling on the sixth hole. Durham helped Phoenix set a new program benchmark with a 34-under 818, snapping a four-year record set in 2021.
The CAA also saw Campbell’s
Logan Graf and North Carolina A&T’s
Emilio Hernandez notch top honors at their respective events. Graf earned co-medalist honors at Bash in the Boro with a 10-under 206, guiding the Camels to a top-three team finish. Aggies’ freshman Hernandez tied the program’s lowest round score with a 65 in the opening round en route to a 5-under 205 at the SAS HBCU Invitational, helping North Carolina A&T secure its second-straight team title at the event.
