CAA Field Hockey Weekly Awards – Oct. 20, 2025

RICHMOND, Va. (Oct. 20, 2025) –Hofstra defender Teresa Karoff, Drexel midfielder/forward Natali Foster and Northeastern midfielder Jessica Garden earned CAA field hockey weekly awards for the week ending on October 19.
 
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Teresa Karoff, Hofstra
Senior | Defender | Berlin, Germany, Schadow Gymnasium Berlin

Karoff had an outstanding performance tallying nine points with four goals and an assist in the Pride’s 1-1 weekend. Highlighted by a hat trick and an assist in a 7-0 victory over New Haven, the German defender upped her run of consecutive games with a goal to five. Karoff is the first Hofstra field hockey player to score three in a game since 2019. The senior also tallied a goal against Northeastern.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Natali Foster, Drexel
Sophomore | Midfield/Forward | Elverson, Pa. / Twin Valley
Foster went back-to-back as CAA Defensive Player of the Week, anchoring Drexel’s defensive unit through a pair of wins last weekend. The sophomore helped restrict Towson offensively, surrendering to two shots in total with zwro  falling on target in a 4-0 win. Her defensive prowess carried over  to the Dragons’ 2-1 victory over Villanova after holding the Wildcats to just four shots on frame. Foster contributed offensively with a goal and an assist on the week.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Jessica Garden, Northeastern
Freshman | Midfield | Edinburgh, Scotland / George Heriot’s School
Garden had three points in a weekend which saw Northeastern go 2-0. With the game deadlocked at one, the freshman midfielder netted the eventual game winner on an individual effort for her third of the season. Garden also had an assist in a 3-2 win over Quinnipiac.
