CAA Women’s Basketball Weekly Awards – Nov. 17, 2025

RICHMOND, Va. (Nov. 17, 2025) – Charleston guard Taryn Barbot and Towson guard Viki Matulevicius are the CAA women’s basketball weekly award winners for the week ending November 16. 
 
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Taryn Barbot, Charleston
Junior | Guard | Floral Park, N.Y. / St. Mary
Barbot dropped 31 points for the eighth time in her career as Charleston earned a 75-44 victory over Iona. The CAA Preseason Player of the Year scored at an impressive .611 clip, knocking down 11-of-18 shots from the floor with a pair of 3-pointers. Barbot added five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals to round out her stat line. The junior guard has registered 22 or more points in all three contests this season as Charleston remains undefeated at 3-0.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Viki Matulevicius, Towson
Redshirt Freshman | Guard | Willowbrook, Ill. / Montini Catholic H.S.
Matulevicius helped Towson go 2-1, reaching her season-high point total along the way. The redshirt freshman kicked her week off with a 76-54 win over Stetson, which saw her drop five points alongside a rebound and an assist. Five days later, Matulevicius charted a campaign-best 14 points in a 65-54 win over Coppin State.  The Montini Catholic alumna scored on an impressive clip against the Bald Eagles, going 5-of-6 from the field and a perfect 4-of-4 from behind the arc.
