RICHMOND, Va. (November 3, 2025) – CAA Football has announced its weekly award winners for Week 10 of the 2025 season. Monmouth sophomore running back Rodney Nelson repeated as the Offensive Player of the Week while Maine senior linebacker Latrell Couchman was selected as the Defensive Player of the Week. William & Mary sophomore running back Josh Miller was chosen as the Special Teams Player of the Week and Towson freshman quarterback Andrew Indorf was named the Rookie of the Week.
CAA Football Offensive Player of the Week
Rodney Nelson, So., RB, Monmouth (Owings Mills, Md./Franklin)
Nelson set a new career high, rushing for 244 yards and 2 TD’s on 34 carries (7.2 ypc) in Monmouth’s 35-7 win at Bryant. The 244 yards are the 4
th-most in FCS this season and marked his third 200+-yard outing in the past five games. He added two catches for 62 yards and his 306 all-purpose yards were the second-most in FCS in 2025. Nelson leads the nation in rushing and all-purpose yards.
CAA Football Defensive Player of the Week
Latrell Couchman, Sr., LB, Maine (Irvington, N.J./Irvington)
Couchman contributed seven tackles, 2.5 TFL’s and 2.0 sacks in Maine’s 28-21 victory over Stony Brook. The seven stops matched a season high, and the two sacks marked a career-best total. Couchman helped lead a Black Bear defense that tallied five sacks and limited SBU’s league-leading rushing attack (186.6 ypg) to only three yards.
CAA Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Josh Miller, So., RB, William & Mary (South Boston, Va./Halifax County)
Miller was the first of three William & Mary players to block punts that resulted in safeties in a 37-7 triumph over UAlbany. The sophomore’s block late in the first quarter gave the Tribe a 9-0 lead, and he added 20 yards rushing and a six-yard reception. W&M’s three blocked punts and safeties were one shy of FCS records.
CAA Football Rookie of the Week
Andrew Indorf, Fr., QB, Towson (Miami, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas)
Indorf completed 18-of-24 passes (75%) for a career-high 294 yards and two touchdowns in Towson’s 62-9 win at North Carolina A&T. It was his fourth 200+-yard passing performance and both TD throws came in the first half as the Tigers built a 42-3 lead. Indorf helped Towson pile up 529 yards of offense and score its most points in a game since 2012.
