CAA Spring sports are back in full swing as baseball, softball, men’s and women’s lacrosse are all slated for action this weekend, while track & field, golf and tennis also continue.

Baseball | Schedule

It’s opening day for the 2025 college baseball season and CAA teams will test themselves against several nationally ranked squads over the weekend. Elon travels to #1 Texas A&M for a three-game series, while Hofstra heads to #4 and defending national champion Tennessee for three. UNCW hosts #8 Georgia on Saturday and Sunday and Campbell opens with a three-game set at #22 UC Santa Barbara. Other big matchups include Northeastern visiting Charlotte, Delaware traveling to FAU, Charleston hosting VCU and Monmouth meeting Michigan State on Saturday.

Men’s Lacrosse | Schedule

Marquee matchups surround the conference with Monmouth, Stony Brook, nationally ranked Towson, and Drexel taking on programs in the national rankings. Friday has two big-time matchups with the Hawks hosting Boston University at 3:30 p.m., while Stony Brook travels to No. 11 North Carolina. Four matchups make up Saturday’s slate, with the day being highlighted by a noon contest between Drexel and UMBC. Towson takes the field on Sunday to round out the weekend’s schedule against No. 20 Navy in a Noon showdown.

Women’s Lacrosse | Schedule

With eight games slated for the weekend, Delaware will head to Big Ten foe Rutgers in a 1 p.m. tilt on Saturday in Piscataway, N.J. The Blue Hens will look to capture their first win against the Scarlet Knights since 2017. Drexel will also play host to nationally-ranked No. 12 Penn on Sunday afternoon in a 1 p.m. contest. The Dragons will also look to pick up a ranked win for the fourth straight season.

Softball | Schedule

There are 52 games on tap for CAA Softball with Hofstra having a tall task in five ranked contests on ESPN+ this weekend. The Pride will open the Getterman Classic against No. 23 Baylor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. On Saturday, Hofstra will meet No. 3 Oklahoma at 1 p.m., before facing Baylor again at 6 p.m. The Pride will wrap up the five-game slate on Sunday, facing the Sooners at 11 a.m., before taking on the Bears at 1:30 p.m. Drexel will take on ACC’s North Carolina at 4 p.m. on Friday and again on Sunday at 3 p.m. Towson will also square off with Notre Dame twice in the Battle at the Beach, first on Saturday at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Sunday showdown at 11:15 a.m. Stony Brook will match up with Big Ten foe Illinois two times at the Roar City Invitational – Friday at 10 a.m. and Sunday at 12:30 p.m.

Women’s Golf | Schedule

Elon and N.C. A&T will open the RiverTowne Invitational in Mount Pleasant, S.C. on Sunday, Feb. 16. Reigning CAA Golfer of the Week Kelly Zhao will look to build on her four-place finish from last week, while A&T will make its 2025 debut.

Tennis | Schedule

There is conference play in men’s tennis on Saturday as Campbell hosts Elon, while Drexel visits Big Ten foe Penn State and UNCW travels to #17 South Carolina on Friday. Women’s tennis also features conference action as Drexel travels to Stony Brook on Saturday and William & Mary welcomes UNCW on Sunday. Towson takes on Big Ten opponent Maryland on Friday.
