N.C. A&T’s Holmes Qualifies for 2025 NCAA Indoor Championship

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Mar. 5, 2025) – North Carolina A&T’s Jason Holmes has qualified for the 2025 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship as announced on Tuesday night.
Holmes sealed his ticket in the 60m hurdles to the national championship for the second straight year after posting the eighth fastest time (7.56) in the country. The Baltimore native was on a hot streak to start the season, winning the event for three straight meets at the Clemson Opener, Gamecock Opener, and Corky Classic before the calendar turned February. With a 7.78 time at the CAA Championship, Holmes took top spot alongside two of his teammates.
The junior sprinter/hurdler's last appearance at the NCAA Championship in 2024 saw him placed 12
th with a 7.74 time. Holmes earned second-team All-American accolades as a result.
The 2025 championships will take place on March 14 and 15 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
