Bracket Solidified for 2025 Credit Union 1 CAA Women’s Basketball Championship

RICHMOND, Va. (Mar. 8, 2025) - The seeds are locked in for the 2025 Credit Union 1 CAA Women’s Basketball Championship, which will be played March 12-16 at CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C.
North Carolina A&T, Charleston, Drexel, and Campbell had already clinched double byes heading into the final weekend of action, however, the final day of conference play proved pivotal in seeding the teams 2-11.
The action all kicks off on Wednesday, March 12 as four teams hit the court starting at 2 p.m. No. 12 Stony Brook and No. 13 Hampton meet to start the tournament, with No.11 Towson and No. 14 Northeastern matching up at 4:30 p.m. to close the evening.
The winners of Wednesday’s contests will join six other teams in the second round of action on March 13. No. 8 Hofstra will take on No. 9 William & Mary at Noon to kickstart the day, followed by No. 5 Monmouth facing off against the Game 1 winner. No. 10 UNCW takes the court at 6 p.m. against No. 7 Delaware, while No. 6 Elon closes out the night at 8:30 p.m. versus the winner of Game 2.
Top-seeded. North Carolina A&T begins Friday’s quarterfinal play against the winner of Game 3 at 12 p.m. on Friday. No. 4 Drexel starts its title defense at 2:30 p.m. battling the winner of Game 4. The evening session features No. 2 Charleston matching up against the winner of Game 5, followed by No.3 Campbell hitting the court at 8:30 p.m. against the winner of Game 6.
The teams who make it out of Friday’s quarterfinal action will meet on Saturday, March 15 at 2 and 4:30 p.m. with the Championship Game tipping off on Sunday, March 16 at. 2 p.m.
