RICHMOND, Va. (April 21, 2025) – The teams and pairings have been set for the 2025 CAA Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships, which will be held April 25-27 at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center on the campus of Elon University in Elon, N.C.
Only the top six men’s and women’s teams, as chosen by a panel of conference administrators, will compete for titles in 2025.
Elon (17-5) received the top seed for the CAA Women’s Tennis Championship, followed by No. 2 William & Mary (13-5), No. 3 Delaware (17-7), No. 4 Charleston (15-9), No. 5 UNCW (9-6) and No. 6 Campbell (8-8).
UNCW (10-7) was selected as the top seed for the CAA Men’s Tennis Championship, followed by No. 2 Elon (10-7), No. 3 Monmouth (18-3), No. 4 Delaware (13-8), No. 5 Hofstra (9-7) and No. 6 Drexel (10-7).
The women’s championship gets underway at 10 a.m. on Friday with Delaware facing Campbell and Charleston meeting UNCW in quarterfinal action. The semifinals will be played at 10 a.m. on Saturday with Elon taking on the Charleston/UNCW winner and William & Mary battling the Delaware/Campbell winner. The women’s championship match is set for 10 a.m. on Sunday.
The men’s championship starts at 2 p.m. on Friday with Monmouth meeting Drexel and Delaware taking on Hofstra. The semifinals will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday with UNCW facing the Delaware/Hofstra winner and Elon challenging the Monmouth/Drexel winner. The men’s championship match is set for 2 p.m. on Sunday.
There is free admission to all three days of the championship.
