Rob Washburn
RICHMOND, Va. (April 25, 2025) – William & Mary offensive lineman
Charles Grant was selected 99
th overall in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft by the Las Vegas Raiders on Friday night.
Grant is the highest draft pick in CAA Football since Delaware defensive back Nasir Adderley was chosen in the second round (60

A consensus All-America selection and the only offensive lineman to be chosen as a Walter Payton Award finalist in 2024, Grant allowed just one sack in 368 pass blocking snaps this season and cleared the way for a W&M rushing attack that ranked fourth nationally with 232.8 yards per game. He was the nation's first player to earn and accept an invitation to play in the 2025 Reese's Senior Bowl and took part in the NFL Combine.
