RICHMOND, Va. (Aug. 25, 2025) – Northeastern sophomore forward Bryce Flowers, Monmouth freshman forward Marcin Kluz, and Northeastern senior defender Jaden Prado earned CAA men’s soccer weekly award winners for the week ending on August 24
th.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Bryce Flowers, Northeastern
Sophomore | Forward | Wilmington, Del. / Sharon High School
Flowers had an emphatic start to his career in a Husky uniform, scoring just 24 minutes into his debut against Holy Cross to force a 1-1 draw. The sophomore forward followed that performance up with a brace against Stonehill, including the game-winner in the 56
th minute of the Huskies’ 3-1 win.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jaden Prado, Northeastern
Senior | Defender | New York, N.Y. / The Montfort Academy
Prado totaled 108 minutes on the Huskies’ backline that went 1-0-1 and allowed two goals. Against state rivals Holy Cross, Prado helped limit the Crusaders to two shots on target. A few days later, the Montfort Academy alum found his name on the scoresheet against Stonehill with a goal in the 54
th minute. The New York product was a key factor defensively in his 75 minutes of work to help Northeastern secure its second victory of the week.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Marcin Kluz, Monmouth
Freshman | Forward | Monroe, N.Y. / Monroe Woodbury
Kluz made the most of his collegiate debut against New Haven . The freshman got his head on the ball off a corner kick in the 58
th minute and knotted the contest. The shot was Kluz’s lone tally of the match.
