CAA Football Countdown To Kickoff - Maine

CAA Football opens its Countdown To Kickoff series with a look at the Maine Black Bears. Maine is coming off a 5-7 season that included a 3-5 mark in CAA play. Both win totals were the highest for the Black Bears since 2021.
Quarterback Carter Peevy is back at the controls of the offense after throwing for 2,422 yards and 18 TD's. Receivers Molayo Irefin, Nick Laughlin and Trevin Ewing also return. The Black Hole defense is led by defensive backs Devin Vaught and Jamaree Gibson and linebacker Christian Thomas.
