Long-time rivals Hampton and North Carolina A&T face off for the 50th time in the conference opener for both teams to highlight the Week 3 slate. Campbell (Furman), Stony Brook (Furman), Maine (Stonehill), UAlbany (New Haven) and Bryant (Bentley) are at home on Saturday, while Rhode Island (Holy Cross) and Elon (Western Carolina) hit the road against FCS opponents. CAA teams are 8-4 against non-conference FCS opponents this season.
 
There are five games against FBS opponents in Week 3, including three in-state matchups versus Power 4 foes as Towson meets Maryland, Villanova faces No. 2 Penn State and William & Mary takes on Virginia. Also on the slate, New Hampshire is at Ball State and Monmouth goes to Charlotte.
