CAA Women’s Soccer Weekly Awards – Sept. 8, 2025
Dylan Smith
RICHMOND, Va. (Sept. 8, 2025) – Elon’s
Katie Bisgrove continued her dominance in net with her third CAA Defensive Player of the Week honor, while Monmouth’s
Summer Reimet and Hampton’s
Caitlyn Peace garnered Offensive Player and Rookie of the Week accolades, respectively, on Monday.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Summer Reimet, Monmouth
Senior | Forward | Ocean City, N.J.
Reimet unloaded three strikes into the back of the net across two victories over Harvard and St. John's. On Thursday in Cambridge, Mass., the senior forward scored less than 10 minutes into the contest to give the Hawks an early lead before earning a 2-1 win. On Sunday, Reimet registered her second brace of the season in the Hawks’ 2-0 win over BIG EAST foe St. John’s. Her two tallies came 88 minutes apart, netting scores in the second and 90th minute.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Katie Bisgrove, Elon
Sophomore | Goalkeeper | Ridgewood, N.J.
Bisgrove posted two more shutouts this week to help Elon match its longest streak of consecutive shutouts in program history. On Thursday, Bisgrove made six saves in a scoreless draw against NC State, Elon's first-ever result against the Wolfpack in the 17th meeting between the teams. Bisgrove added another clean sheet on Sunday in a 2-0 victory at George Mason, stopping all three shots on goal from the Patriots. Elon's six straight shutouts, all of which Bisgrove has anchored in goal, are the most for the program since also posting six consecutive contests in its inaugural season in 1986.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Caitlyn Peace, Hampton
Freshman | Forward | Chalfont, Pa.
Peace recorded three goals in a 1-0-1 week for Hampton. The freshman forward registered a brace in a 6-0 win over Lincoln (Pa.), scoring the opening two goals of the match for the Pirates. The Chalfont, Pa., product went on to tally the first strike for Hampton in a 2-2 draw with Delaware State on Sunday.
