RICHMOND, Va. (January 11, 2026) – Record-setting defensive performances and offensive explosions were key for six teams adding another conference win to their tallies.
 
Charleston 88, Hampton 77

Charleston’s offense exploded to defeat Hampton 88-75. The Cougars posted their most points in a conference game since Mar. 8, 2025, also coming against the Pirates. Tyja Beans was prolific, dropping a season-high 24 points on 10-for-11 shooting from the field. The junior guard opened the scoring with a layup, two of her 19 points to come from 2-point range, to earn Charleston a lead it would never relinquish. Shooting 59.0% from the field, Robin Harmony’s program had its highest scoring percentage this season, with the closest coming in the first game of the year (.548). Kayla Lezama dropped 29 points for Hampton to lead the field.
 
Northeastern 72, Monmouth 67

Despite relinquishing a 17-point lead from the first half, Northeastern came back to defeat Monmouth 72-67 and snap the Hawks’ eight-game win streak. By the second quarter, Northeastern had built up a 23-6 lead before Monmouth found its footing.  After a successful trip to the line for Alexis Andrews, Madalena Amaro sank a layup to jumpstart a 16-5 run to bring the Hawks within four to end the first half. After five-straight points to start the second, Monmouth retook the lead. Separated by one point to begin the fourth quarter, Justice Tramble scored six straight to give Northeastern a lead it never gave back up. Four players reached double digits for the Huskies, including Camryn Collins, who had a team-high 19. Gigi Gamble and Andrews shared the team lead with 16 for Monmouth.
 
Stony Brook 56, N.C. A&T 51

Knotted at 45 heading into the final media timeout, Stony Brook distanced itself late to defeat N.C. A&T 56-51. Delaney Cooper came out of the break and scored three straight, first sinking one from the charity stripe, then poking the ball free on defense and driving to the lane on the fast break. Both teams went on to trade buckets, including D’Mya Tucker, who drilled a trey with 1:52 to cut the lead to one. Chloe Oliver responded with a 3-ball of her own to retake a 54-50 lead. Stony Brook ultimately won the game on free throws through the final 43 seconds. Caitlin Frost paced the Seawolves with 15 points and six rebounds, while Tucker had a team-high 13.  
 
Towson 79, UNCW 68

Tied through the first 20 minutes, Towson came out firing in the second half to defeat UNCW 79-68. Separated by two points to start the second, Towson was on fire, dropping 47 in the final 20 minutes on a .467 scoring clip. After giving up the first bucket, Kayla Morris fired in two straight to put Towson ahead six in 1:30 minutes. UNCW pulled as close as three points near the tail end of the third, but a 9-6 run to close out the quarter helped seal the game. Four players shot 50% or better in the second, including Semaya Turner and Viki Matulevicius, who were perfect from the field. Tilda Sjlokvist led the charge for the Tigees with 16 points and five rebounds. Rori Cox had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Seahawks.
 
Drexel 67, Hofstra 38

Drexel dominated on defense to defeat Hofstra 67-38. The Dragons allowed their fewest amount of points in a CAA game since 64-37 win over Elon on Jan. 26, 2025. Forcing 15 turnovers, Amy Mallons’ squad capitalized to pour in 18 points. Drexel built its lead early in the first half on a 12-1 run heading into the first media timeout. Deja Evans scored the first of her game-high 20 points 23 seconds in to jumpstart the run before five-straight points from Amaris Baker. Hofstra was restricted to 28% shooting from the field and just 3-for-21 from beyond the arc. Sandra Magolico’s 10 points were the Pride’s most.
 
Campbell 45, William & Mary 43

Ciara Alexander came up clutch for Campbell to earn a 45-43 win over William & Mary. Even at 43 with 1:26 on the clock, William & Mary’s Cassidy Geddes got to the lane and had her shot blocked by Alexander. The sophomore guard broke free from the Tribe’s press and converted on the fast break with 1:18 to go. Erin Dickerson Davis’ squad had the final opportunity, but N’Na Konta poked the ball loose from the Tribe before they could get a shot off to seal the victory. Gianni Boone and Jasmine Felton split the team lead with 10 points each, while Cassidy Geddes put up a game-high 18 for William & Mary.
